CRANBERRY APPLE SALAD 
1 pkg. strawberry or mixed fruit Jello
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
2 c. finely chopped apples
Chopped walnuts, optional

Dissolve Jello and salt in boiling water. Break up cranberry sauce with fork. Add to Jello. Chill until slightly jelled. Fold in apples; fold in walnuts. Chill in long flat pyrex dish or pan until firm. Delicious with turkey dinner.
