PICKLED OKRA 
VINEGAR MIXTURE:

1 c. water
1 quart vinegar
1/2 c. pickling salt

Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Into sterilized pint size jars put 1 pod hot pepper, 1 clove garlic. Pack okra lightly, then sprinkle 1 teaspoon dill seed on top. Pour vinegar mixture over okra. Seal tight and let stand for at least 2 weeks.
