PICKLES OKRA 
2 1/2 lb. small okra pods
5 sm. celery leaves
5 sm. hot pepper
5 sm. cloves garlic
2 1/2 tsp. dill seed, divided
2 c. white vinegar
4 c. water
1/2 c. pickling salt

Remove part of stem from each okra pod. Firmly pack okra in hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. Place one celery leaf, pepper pod, and clover of garlic in each jar. Add 1/2 teaspoon dill seed per jar.

Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour vinegar mixture over okra, leave 1/4 inch headspace and seal tight. Process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
