FRUIT CAKE SHEET 
2 c. chopped pecans
2 sticks of butter
2 c. of self rising flour
1 lb. box light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 lbs. candied cherries and pineapple (cut in small pieces)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour and flavoring. Grease and flour 11 x 17 inch pan. Spread nuts in bottom of pan. Pour batter over nuts and press in. Mix together candied cherries and pineapple. Sprinkle over batter and press in. Bake 1 hour at 250 to 275 degrees. Cut into squares when cool.
