PEANUT BUTTER SHEET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 stick butter
2 c. white sugar

Bring the above ingredients to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Let cool.

Add: 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 eggs, 1/4 c. oatmeal (optional), and 2 cups flour.

Mix well together. Pour into a greased cookie sheet pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. can evaporated milk (5 oz.)
2 tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 to 3/4 c. peanut butter

Bring to a boil. Stir and cook 1 minute. Be careful not to burn. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool slightly and pour over cake. Crunchy or smooth peanut butter may be used in either the cake or frosting.
