NEWPORT FRESH VEGGIE SALAD 
1 head lettuce, torn into very sm. pieces
1 head cauliflower (use just the flowerettes), cut into pieces
2 c. Miracle Whip
1 med. onion
1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp, broken into sm. pieces
2-4 tbsp. sugar (to taste)
2-4 tbsp. Parmesan cheese (to taste)

Put lettuce in bottom of large bowl. Place cauliflower on top of lettuce, distributing evenly. Seal the above with the Miracle Whip, spreading to edge of bowl. Layer chopped onion on next, followed by layer of cooked, chopped bacon. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Cover very tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight, if possible; if not, at least 6 hours.

Toss just before serving.
