CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. dark corn syrup 3 eggs, lightly beaten 4 tbsp. butter 2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. pecan meats 1 uncooked pie shell Combine sugar, honey and corn syrup in saucepan and cook on top of stove until thickened and bubbly. Add beaten eggs slowly. Add butter and squares of baking chocolate and stir until they are melted. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into uncooked pie crust and cook at 375 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Makes 1 (9 inch) pie. |
