HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. thick sour cream
1/3 c. chopped green onion
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cook noodles according to package; drain. Skillet brown hamburger in 1 tablespoon of butter. Stir in tomato sauce; remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, onions and green pepper.

In a buttered 2-quart casserole, spread half the noodles, cover with cheese mixture, then cover this with the remaining noodles. Pour melted butter over the noodles, pour hamburger-sauce mixture on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until hot. Yield: 6 to 8 portions.
