LONE STAR CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. raw rice
1 pkg. Lipton dry soup mix
1 chicken cut up
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
3 c. hot water

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread rice on butter. Spread soup mix on rice. Place seasoned chicken on soup mix. Add water. Cover and bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
