GERMAN POTATO SOUP | |
4 med. potatoes, peeled and diced 1 onion, sliced 1 tsp. salt Dash pepper 3 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp flour 3 c. liquid, drained from potatoes Combine in saucepan - potatoes, onions, salt, pepper, water. Cook until potatoes are tender. Heat in second saucepan - butter, flour. Allow butter and four to brown, stirring constantly. Add liquid from potatoes. Cook until smooth. Add potatoes and onions and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley. |
