POACHED FISH FILLETS 
4 fish fillets (1 to 1 1/4 lbs.)
1/2 c. dry white wine or tomato juice
3 tbsp. butter, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

1. Arrange fish fillets in a small, shallow baking dish, with thicker portions toward the outside of the dish. Pour wine over fish. Dot with butter and sprinkle on chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Cover.

2. Microwave at power level 10 for 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Let stand, covered, 3 to 5 minutes, or until fish becomes firm all the way through.

Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
