PUMPKIN CAKE 
1 pkg. spice cake mix
Water
2 eggs
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1/4 c. finely chopped dates

Place cake mix in large bowl, add eggs, add 1/4 cup less water than called for on package. Add pumpkin and mix as directed. Stir in nuts and dates. Pour into greased 2 quart ring mold or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. When cool drizzle with lemon sugar glaze.

LEMON GLAZE:

Mix 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind and 2 tablespoons milk.
