STRAWBERRY PECAN CREAM CHEESE
BREAD
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. each, cinnamon, salt, baking soda
2 eggs
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 (10 oz.) box pkg. thawed strawberries
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking powder. Set aside. In a small bowl, beat eggs and oil; add pecans and strawberries. Add this mixture to dry ingredients, mixing only until just well blended. In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients until smooth; set aside. Pour 2/3 of bread mixture into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over top. Spoon remaining batter on top of all. Bake about 1 hour or until center tests done. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. When cool, wrap in foil and refrigerate.
