CAMPER'S DRUMSTICKS 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 c. corn flakes or 1/2 c. oatmeal or 1/2 c. crushed crackers
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. finely chopped onion
16 buns or slices of bread
8 green sticks about 1/2" diagonally
Good cooking fire

Mix hamburger, corn flakes, eggs, seasoning and onion together. Measure out 16 even portions. Wrap a portion around the end of a stick and evenly squeeze it in place. Make it long and thin, not a ball. Be sure there are no air spaces in it. Cook slowly over coals, turning frequently so all sides are evenly cooked. Twist slightly to take off the stick. Serve in a roll or in a slice of bread.
