WARM GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
10 slices bacon
1 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Dash pepper
1 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
9 med. potatoes

Peel, slice and boil potatoes. Drain and set aside to cool. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Drain on paper towels. Cook onions in bacon drippings until golden brown. Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat until bubbly. Remove from heat. Add water and vinegar. Bring to a boil and stir for one minute. Pour warm sauce over potatoes. Crumble bacon over the top and stir in just before serving.
