FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE AND TOPPING 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 can fruit cocktail

Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs and undrained fruit cocktail. Bake in 2 greased 9 inch cake pans at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

TOP WITH:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut

Bring to a boil for 1 full minute. Pour over hot cake.
