PORK CHOPS AND RICE | |
4 to 5 pork chops (thin, boneless; use just a little of the salt on them) 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (plus water) 1 c. UNCLE BEN'S® Original white rice (plus water amount on box for 1 c.) 3 tbsp. garlic powder seasoning salt, white salt and black pepper to taste Brown pork chops quickly and then set aside to cool. Put cream of mushroom soup, all water, cup of rice, garlic, salts and black pepper in skillet where pork chops were fried, leaving about 3 tablespoons of grease as seasoning. Cover with lid. Simmer until rice is done. Stir very often. Take pork chops and pull into inch pieces and cook in the rice mixture until all water is absorbed and rice is soft. This is a delicious casserole of pork chops and rice. |
