SLOPPY JOE BURRITO | |
I prefer to use a 1 1/4 pound package of ground turkey with 7% fat, because when it is totally cooked all the fat has evaporated. So no draining is required! 1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey 1 (15 oz.) can Sloppy Joe sauce (Manwich or Del Monte) 8 large flour tortillas (or 12 corn tortillas) shredded iceberg lettuce shredded cheddar cheese chopped tomatoes chopped onions (red or white) Brown ground beef, crumbling as much as possible. Drain fat. Add Sloppy Joe sauce as instructed on can. Per Serving: Microwave plain tortilla for 15 to 25 seconds to soften, then add meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, leaving enough room to fold the bottom and roll up. Makes 8-12 burritos.
