WHITE WONDER FROSTING 
4 egg whites
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water for 6 minutes, stirring with one finger until you can no longer keep your finger in the mixture. Remove from heat. Beat with rotary or electric beater until icing will hold its shape.

If mixture is too hot to tolerate after 4 or 5 minutes just start beating while over the hot water for a minute or so and then remove from heat and continue beating.
