SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. liquid
1/2 c. chopped fresh mushrooms

Combine meat, egg, crumbs, seasonings and half the onion soup mix. Shape into patties and fry in oil. Remove browned patties. Add flour to frying pan and stir until it is lightly browned. Blend in liquid, stirring until smooth. Stir in remaining soup mix and mushrooms. Cook about 5 minutes. Put patties in gravy and cook slowly for 5 more minutes.
