MICROWAVE SALISBURY STEAKS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 egg
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

SAUCE:

1 can onion soup
1 (2 oz.) can drained, sliced mushrooms
1/3 c. catsup
1/4 tsp. ground basil
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and shape into patties. Place in a 10 x 16 inch glass baking dish. Cover with waxed paper; cook at high for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients, pour over patties. Return to microwave for 15-20 minutes at high setting. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
