ORANGE-NUT SALAD 
1/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt and dash pepper

1 can of mandarin oranges
1 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. diced onion
Lettuce

1/2 c. walnuts, crushed

1 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. sugar

Cook slowly, then spread on wax paper. When cool crumble into salad. Top with dressing and serve.
