KAPUSTA 
1 (No. 3) can sauerkraut
Water
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (1 lb.) can lima beans

Wash sauerkraut well. Place in a 2 quart pot and add water to cover. Cook slowly for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Saute onion in oil. Heat lima beans with liquid in a saucepan for 20 minutes on very low heat. Add onion and lima beans to sauerkraut; season to taste. Continue cooking gently for 1/2 hour - ready to serve.
