WALDORF SALAD 
1 c. celery, diced
2 ripe eating apples
Juice of 1 lemon
1 c. seedless white grapes, halved
1 c. walnut pieces
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Salt
White pepper
Crisp lettuce leaves

Wash, core and dice apples. Toss apples in lemon juice. Mix apples, celery, grapes and walnuts pieces with mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange on lettuce. Yields 4 servings.
