SOFT BREADSTICKS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
Coarse salt

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add sugar. Mix in the flour. Knead the dough and let rise. Form into bread sticks, pretzels, letters, etc. shapes. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. This bread is best served warm from the oven. It does not store well.
