CRANBERRY APPLE COBBLER 
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. peeled, cored, sliced, 1/4 inch thick apples (4 med.)
2 c. fresh or frozen whole cranberries, thawed

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In large bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apples and cranberries. Toss to coat with flour mixture. Place in 2-quart casserole dish.

Bake in a 400°F oven for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

In medium bowl, stir together 2/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture.

Makes 8 servings.

This recipe's instruction's are incomplete. Firstly, they never specified whether or not the fruit mix and dry ingredients should be poured into the baking dish together or just the fruit mix. Secondly, they did not specify when to add the topping, which in my opinion should have been added prior to baking. This author needs to explain thoroughly and completely this recipe, or remove it.
