CHERRY CRUNCH 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. uncooked quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 (No. 2) can pitted cherries

Mix brown sugar, oatmeal, and flour together. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press half of mixture into a 1 1/2 quart greased baking dish. Place cherries and 1/4 cup liquid on top of mixture. Crumble remaining mixture over cherries. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
