LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 1 c. diced celery 4 hard boiled eggs, sliced 1 can English peas, drained 1/2 c. diced green pepper 1 bunch green onions, sliced 8 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled 1 c. Miracle Whip 1 c. sour cream 4 oz. cheddar cheese, grated Tear lettuce into small pieces and place in 9" x 12" x 1 1/2" glass dish. Layer rest of ingredients in order given. Combine Miracle Whip and sour cream. Mix well. (Add a little vinegar to make it spread easier.) Spread over top, sealing edges. Top with grated cheese, cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours. |
