CRUMB TOP APPLE PIE 
About 5 apples
1/2-2/3 c. sugar
butter
Nutmeg
2-4 tbsp. water

UPPER CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar

Slice peeled and cored apples into greased pie plate. Sprinkle sugar over apples. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with nutmeg and water.

CRUST:

Bring to crumbs and spread over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
