ESCALLOPED HAM & POTATOES 
Grease bottom of dish with butter. Layer of sliced raw potatoes, salt and pepper, few sprigs of parsley, sprinkle with flour. Another layer of potatoes, repeat as above. Slices of ham. Another of potatoes and ham. Add raw sliced onions on each layer of potatoes. Top layer should be potatoes. (No flour or onion on top layer, instead cover with dots of butter.) Add about 1" of milk from bottom. Cover. Bake in medium oven about 45 minutes to 1 hour. May substitute pork chops for the ham. Also, can cook potatoes without meat.
