CASSEROLE FRENCH TOAST 
6 eggs
Salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. light cream
1 tbsp. powdered sugar for sprinkling
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 slices French bread cut diagonally in thick slices
Butter
1/4 c. applesauce
3/4 c. thin custard sauce

Beat eggs, cream sugar, salt, vanilla. Dip bread and saute in butter until golden brown. Arrange in casserole. Mix applesauce and custard. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake in 350 degree oven about 15 minutes.
