BUTTERMILK CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
2 3/4 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch salt
1 3/4 c. buttermilk

FROSTING:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk

Beat powdered sugar and Crisco together until it looks flaky. Then add milk and beat well.
