300 PICKLES 
300 very sm. size cucumbers, 3"
1/2 gal. vinegar
4 tbsp. dry mustard
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. ground spices, mixed

Scrub pickles and soak overnight in crock or 1 cup of salt and boiling water to cover. Next morning wipe each pickle dry.

Put vinegar, mustard, salt, spices and sugar into crock. Cover well. Each morning for next 18 days add 1/3 cup of sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved. Pickles will keep in basement in well covered crock all winter. Delicious crisp sweet pickle.
