ICE CREAM COOKIES 
1 lb. butter, softened
4 c. flour
1 pt. vanilla ice cream

Combine butter and flour. Add ice cream. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten, using thumb to make an imprint. Fill imprint with jam or preserves.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When slightly cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
