CALIFORNIA CORN 
1 can (1 lb. size) cream style corn
1 c. Bisquick
1 egg, beaten
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, sliced

Beat egg, add milk, Bisquick and creamed corn. Pour one half of the batter into greased 8 inch cake pan. Place a layer of sliced cheese on top. Top cheese with green chilies. Cover with rest of batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. When doubling this recipe back in 9 x 12 inch pan (greased, for one hour).
