CRYE REAL CHILI 
3 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. each ground cumin, marjoram, cayenne pepper
3 tbsp. paprika
5 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. meal

Cook ground beef in oil in 6 quart pot until no longer pink. DO NOT BROWN. Add 4 cups water. Simmer covered for 2 hours. Add more water if needed. Stir often. Stir in remaining ingredients except flour and meal. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Blend flour and cornmeal with 1 cup water. Stir into ground beef mixture gradually. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add water for desired consistency.
