HUNGARIAN GULYAS 
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 frying peppers, chopped
1/4 lb. butter
2 lb. cubed beef
1 lb. cubed pork
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp. paprika
Black pepper & salt to taste
1 lb. diced potatoes
2 med. ripe tomatoes
4 carrots, sliced
2 celery sticks, sliced
Few parsley flakes
Few caraway seeds

Melt butter. Saute onions and peppers in a large pot. Then add beef and pork cubes; stir with onions and peppers a few minutes. Add paprika, salt and pepper. Add water just to cover meat. Simmer about 1 hour. Add carrots, celery, parsley, garlic, tomatoes and caraway seeds. Add more water for soup. Simmer about 30 minutes more. Add diced potatoes, cook until done.
