4 lemons
2 c. sugar
5 c. half & half

Grate rind of lemons. Squeeze juice. Add sugar. Let sugar and lemon ring and juice stand in a covered bowl overnight. This helps dissolve the sugar. Slowly add milk and freeze according to ice cream maker instructions.
