SNACK TIME GRANOLA BAR 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1/3 c. corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut, flaked
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
1/2 bag (16 oz. size) marshmallows
4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter

In a large saucepan, over low heat, melt and stir butter, syrup, sugar and vanilla. Stir in oats, coconut and nuts. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Stir in marshmallows and when melted stir in the Rice Krispies.

Using buttered spatula, press mixture evenly into buttered 9 x 13 inch or jelly roll pan. Cool.

In a small saucepan melt chips and peanut butter. Spread over oatmeal mixture. Cool. Cut into squares.

Extra coconut. Substituted Kraft Peanut Butter With Chocolate from Shoppers Drug Mart. Substituted 8 grain cereal and mixed nuts from Bulk Barn. Added blackberries and Black Molasses. To die for, not available in stores. There is a new drug on the street.
