SNACKIN' GRANOLA BARS 
3 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins; optional
1 c. nuts; optional
2/3 c. butter or 1/3 c. butter and 1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. honey
1/3 c. honey or corn syrup or molasses or barley malt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Oven at 350 degrees.

Toast oats for approximately 15 minutes, turning over once or twice. Set aside for cooling. In large bowl, mix all the other ingredients. Add cooled oats and pat into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
