GRANDMA SCHULTS' PEAR SALAD 
2 sm. pkg. OR 1 lg. lime Jello
1 lg. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 lg. can Bartlett pears
1 pt. whipping cream

Drain juice from pears. Use juice and enough water to make 2 cups of liquid. Dissolve Jello in boiling liquid, let Jello cool (it doesn't have to jell).

Soften cream cheese with just a little milk. Mash pears with a fork. Add cream cheese and pears to Jello, use a hand mixer, it smooths it out. Put in refrigerator until it sets a little and isn't sloppy. Whip cream, no sugar, and fold into Jello. Refrigerate until firm.
