PINEAPPLE-PEAR SALAD 
2 env. unflavored gelatin mixed in 1 c. boiling water
1 lg. can pears, drained but save juice
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained but save juice
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Heat fruit juices, add gelatin and fruit. Let gel in refrigerator.

TOPPING:

1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. lemon juice
8-10 marshmallows
1 lg. Cool Whip

Cook over low heat until melted. cool completely. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over gelatin mixture. Top with grated cheddar or American cheese.
