1 3/4 c. sugar 1 (6 oz.) can (2/3 c.) evaporated milk 2 tbsp. butter Dash of salt 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1/4 lb. (about 22) marshmallows 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter and salt. Bring to boiling over medium heat; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Immediately add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Stir until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread into buttered 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool before cutting. |
