TACO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. ground beef
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
16 oz. tomato sauce
4-8 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. garlic powder
4 c. coarsely broken tortilla chips
2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. taco sauce
1 c. sliced green onions (with tops)
2 med. tomatoes, chopped
2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (8 oz.)

Cook beef, drain. Add beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Heat.

Spread a layer of chips in a casserole. Top with beef. Spread a layer of sour cream. Sprinkle with onions, tomato and cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly at 350°F.

12 servings.

This is outstanding! Thank you so much. I have been looking for a good taco casserole recipe and finally found it. Love the kidney beans. I also sometimes just mix the meat with taco mix. Wonderful!
