LINZA 
Dough:

7 c. flour
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. lard
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 egg yolks (save the whites)
1/2 pt. sour cream

Add the above ingredients to the first mixture. Mix well. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll one part of the dough into each of the two baking sheets. 16 x 11 x 1 inch. They may have to be pieced.

Filling:

3 cans fruit filling or preserves (approximately 1 1/2 cans per pan)

Spread filling or preserves onto dough.

Top Layer:

Reserved egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
Finely chopped walnuts

Roll out second part of dough for each pan and place on top of filling. Brush with slightly beaten egg whites mixed with sugar. Sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts.

Bake on lower rack of 350°F oven for approximately 40 minutes.
