Almond slivers 2 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk 1 c. ground pecans (in blender) 1 c. flaked coconut (in blender) 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt Do blending of pecans and coconut separately. First, put green food coloring in cup and stir in almond slivers with toothpick until green. Lay out on paper towel to dry. Mix all ingredients. Chill 3-4 hours. Roll in little balls, then form into strawberries. Roll in red sugar; don't roll stem end). Press stem end into green sugar. Press almond sliver into stem end. Refrigerate for storage. |
