CITY GIRL FRUIT TRIFLE 
Slice 1 quart hulled strawberries. Combine with 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar.

Put in food processor: 1 c. sour cream 1 pkg. (3 3/4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding

Process 5 seconds, scrape sides of bowl and process 5 seconds more. Mixture will thicken in about 1 minute. Slice 1 package (10 3/4 ounce) frozen pound cake - 1/4 inch slices. Put half the slices of cake in bottom and partly up sides of clear 3 quart casserole or serving dish. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons sherry or 2 tablespoons orange juice. Cover with half of the pudding and then half of the strawberries. Repeat layers again.

Mix: 2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

Decorate trifle with large dollops of whipped cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 12 servings. (Can also use peaches, blueberries or other fruit.)
