DOUBLE QUICK DINNER ROLLS 
3/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. quick rise dry yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening

In large bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar and half of the flour. Beat thoroughly. Add egg and shortening. Beat in remaining flour until smooth. Let rise 40 to 50 minutes. Stir down batter and drop into greased muffin pans. Let rise another 30 minutes and bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
