END OF THE GARDEN PICKLES 
1 c. sliced cucumbers
1 c. chopped sweet peppers
1 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. sliced onions
1 c. chopped green tomatoes
1 c. chopped carrots
1 c. green beans, cut in pieces
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar

Soak cucumbers, pepper, cabbage, onions, tomatoes overnight in 1/2 cup salt and enough cups water to cover. Cook carrots and string beans in boiling water 10 minutes. Drain well. Mix soaked ingredients with cooked vegetables and freshly chopped celery. Add to liquid mixture. Boil 10 minutes. Turn off. Pack in sterile jars and seal.
