SARAH'S EASIEST & HEALTHIER
CHILI!

1 lb ground turkey
1 chopped onion
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
4 tsp chopped jalapeno
1 (29 oz) can diced fire roasted or spicy tomato
1 (15 oz) can chili beans
1/2 tsp. taco seasoning (or to taste)
1/2 cup salsa (pick your favorite)
3/4 bag of reduced fat shredded Mexican cheese

First, cook the ground turkey. Remove skillet from heat and add the first six ingredients; return to burner.

Mix all of those ingredients together.

Turn heat up and add the diced tomatoes, chili beans, and taco seasoning. Cook on medium heat for a few minutes.

Add the shredded cheese and salsa.

Reduce heat to low and simmer until it tastes perfect!

(I made this for my husband and his buddy, and they said it was the best chili they have ever had... which is funny because it is somewhat healthier than most chilis considering low fat cheese is used and turkey instead of beef! Enjoy!)
